Before and After

I'm not sure where this pair of brass candlesticks came from, but I know I brought them from the UK to Kansas when I emigrated. They've been sitting waiting for a clean for longer than I care to admit. Today's a clean-up day and the candlesticks are getting a makeover. I think the before and after difference is more noticeable in person, but maybe that's because I don't have a great artist's eye :)
