Let me tell what I see..
Diamonds and crystals falling from the sky, rushing to their destruction only to give birth to hundreds more, children of the impact on the earth. Leaves and grasses flowing with tiny waterfalls, bent and groaning from the flow of life giving richness. All about dancing reflections burst and reform only to be blown asunder again and again, puddles of grey sparkling light.
Jostling umbrellas like so many multicoloured mushrooms twist and entwine along the pathways, bedecked in droplets of liquid silver. A brave soul in a bright red plastic raincoat making a mockery of the leaden sky. Wellington boots in a myriad of colours splashing through deep puddles kicking necklaces of glistening jewels into the air, free from their earthly home and then crashing back down sprinkling delicate baubles all around.
Merry go rounds of ringlets parade on the river surface, with each new splash a silvery orb floats into the air, a world in distorted view. The sounds of rain tinkling in my ears, laughter of natures making, life in rich greens and mercurial brightness. Wonderment...beauty.... playful joy and musical delight!
It is raining.
It just depends on how you see it!
