Vanishing owl

Being carless, needing to deliver proofs to a client on the next island and the temptation of a warm sunny day meant I took to my acoustic motorbike and played cycle courier at lunchtime.

It was very tempting to just keep going but I was well behaved and returned to my desk feeling refreshed and set for the afternoon.

On the way back I got a great view of a couple of short eared owls. Sadly, as usual, I didn't manage to get the camera out in time to get a decent shot... but if you look closely you might just see one of the owls giving me a condescending look as it flew off.
