The Rainbow Toe

A toe of many colours. More red than the black and blue it was yesterday. Still sore in shoes. School shoes could be fun tomorrow.

We went to the Millstream for lunch with Nanna and Poppa to celebrate Nanna's birthday. Food was lovely, portion size big, service a little slow. The kids both had toad in the hole, the light version. Well if I said even Carys couldn't clear her plate you will know it was huge!

We walked back through Purwell Meadows and the kids introduced N&P to the game of Dobble. They then had tea (how I don't know, I'm still not hungry! ) and Will watched NZ v Argentina. By the end of this world cup I might get him to understand some of the rules, including that a score of 3 does not mean that three goals have been scored!
