"Wicked" webs

After a sun fun filled Saturday, Sunday dawned damp, grey and misty.........I suppose it was bound to be a bit flat after such a great day out yesterday ;-)

We went out for the papers, it was chilly!
Back home, coffee and papers, but that was when hub noticed our resident spiders had been very busy overnight, spinning their new
webs,very symmetrically, inbetween the ballustrade spindles of our decking area out back! They were all bejewelled with the early morning dew, which made them all the more appealing :-)

We watched the golf, a rush of madness turned it on its head.....very disappointing outcome. Watched the tennis, great match, great outcome. Then it was our household derby match Man U v Southampton, youngest son and his wife, who drove them here, with her L plates on :-) came to join us and had dinner with us. Man U come out on top, but we are still married ;-)

We've been trying to watch what we eat for a few weeks now, with our holiday coming up soon, youngest and his wife have decided it's time too, and both are doing great, it's already showing :-) So it was a peppered chicken, bacon and soft boiled egg mixed salad for dinner, which went down rather well.

Now time to settle down for the evening, X factor Boot Camp is calling........:-/
