Bamburgh castle Northumberland

This was set in such a lovely place and was huge, it's a grade 1 listed building. It was restored during the 18th and 19th century and bought by the Victorian industrialist William Armstrong, who completed the restoration. The castle still belongs to the Armstrong family and is open to the public. It has been used as a film location since the 1920s.
