Rowans

A day mainly at home sorting out papers/reading/ keeping an eye on the tennis/rugby and generally tidying up. Not to mention preparing for Christmas!

A rare blink of sunshine today caught the Rowan berries. These are the more traditional colour but they are on shoots from what I suppose come from the original root stock. The main tree produces the lighter yellowy/orange berries (out of focus in the background).

I wonder which will dominate over time. For the moment the mix of colours is interesting.
