One back blip

I could not get the 19th's photo to load as the hotel WIFI was incredibly slow. This actually was also from the 19th , but it was a Monarch! What could I do ? I have been trying to find a monarch all September , and here was a whole field of them. Because it was a home game weekend and it was a night game on Sat . we ended up in the State College area for 2 nights (minimum booking on home game weekends). So Saturday we went to Millpond Marsh for a walk. It was a good walk through a marsh , wooded areas and the meadow. Loaded with butterflies. We also walked around Bellefonte where my aunt/uncle used to live and drove past their old home. The street was so familiar but it was a shock to see the house. The bushes in the front were gone and the current owners  put siding on the lovely old Victorian home which just doesn't look right. It's white and bland and they painted the window sills red. Sigh. It was almost as bad as when the guy who bought my paternal grandparent's home walled over the windows in the alcove .But on a lighter note I got to Woodring's florist shop, drooled over their flowers and candles and found a great Bar/ Pizza place. not a bad weekend. The extra if it loads is a catbird , also form the marsh. Just hope  picked the better of the two!
