Sauvie Island Exploration
It's getting close to the "closing date", when we cannot go out to many of the lakes on Sauvie Island...mostly due to the hunters. So we took the opportunity to drive out the road to Oak Island, way to the end, and explore all the loops around the lakes and river. There were even a few fishing holes I knew nothing about. We saw several groups of sandhill cranes fly over, but the real migration has not started yet. I liked this photo as it caught a couple of photographers on the opposite shore!
