Grungy gates
A quick walk around Northcliffe Park in Shipley today... in the rain... and it was all looking a bit grey... apart from the pumpkin coloured leaves starting to carpet the grass.
No idea of the history of the park but it has ..... or did have... a very grand entrance with imposingly ornate Victorian gates. It's a huge park, with a large area of allotments, tennis courts and a wonderful avenue of trees which will look treemendous (see what I did there) in their autumnal glory soon.. only thing is I always feel a little unnerved when I'm there.
I've spent 20 mins playing around with this in photoshop for a grungy effect... I have no idea what I've done!
