Rabac Cove

Croatia is surprisingly beautiful. Everwhere we go we are impressed by how clean and lovely it is. The people are nice and generally things are cheap for us.

The nearest beach from our villa just outside Labin is about ten minutes drive. After a lay in and a salad lunch on the veranda, late afternoon we drove to Rabac beach and had a stroll along the quay side and passing many small coves, bars and restaurants.

The blip photo is on one small cove. Mrs BB was so taken by the clear water she went for a swim. Luckily she had her costume on under her dress, so no bathers were harmed by an unexpected sight!

This evening we are eating in. James, our host, loves his cooking and has been on a few cooking courses and eats in the finest restaurants. He's doing lasagne at our request. I can smell it now. I have a feeling it's going to be strong on garlic - something me and Mrs BB aren't keen on! I won't be kissing anyone soon.
