... out in the rain before the shops opened their doors. This lady had a brolly to brighten the dreary damp morning; despite watching for a while, I was never able to see her face, hidden in the top of the umbrella.

Meanwhile the gentleman (see the extra) arrived by taxi and looked none too pleased when he had to shelter in the doorway until the jeweller opened up.
