Clouds
Am I getting soft, or is it rather cold today? The thermometer on the balcony said it was just a fraction over 10 degrees at 5pm today, not very spring-like?
Anyway, struggling a bit for a Blip today, as I often do when it's a solid day in the office without much external interest, let alone venturing outside anywhere. So here are some stormy looking clouds as the sun was going down over the Auckland CBD, symptomatic of the way the day seems to have been.
It's a little out of sequence, but in extras I have posted an image of the New Holland honey-eater that we observed on our walk around North Head near Manly the other day. I know it is a completely different family of birds, but it does somehow remind me of the NZ stitchbird in it's looks.
