Algal Bloom

As it was a day of meetings in Brussels I took a short walk at lunchtime around the pond in Leopold Park. The entrance to this small park is on Rue Belliard and right next to the building my meetings were in.

A large part of the pond is covered in algal bloom and has been for some time, which makes the pond look rather strange.
