The View from Dodd Wood

After my sister and her brood had headed back down south, Clare and I headed out for a wee cycle from our base at Millbeck.

We went to Dodd Wood.....on the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake and once we climbed high enough, I managed to capture this shot overlooking the lake itself!!

It really is a fab place
