This. This is my lovely husband's influence and I blame him entirely.

Without his influence on my life, in the 45 minutes I had at home between school/work/tennis lessons and the evening's entertainment of hockey club and a cub trip to Insch, while cajoling my older boys into getting ready and entertaining my (currently) clingy little one by reading that book he desperately wanted read, I would have never bothered to whip up a guacamole (knowing I'd be the only one who would eat it), to go with the chilli we were having for tea.

But my lovely husband is of the mind that food is important and that it should be savoured and enjoyed and not just rushed down. And I think he is right. So I made a my little addition and it made the meal (well mine anyway).

He has been away in London since the weekend but he will be home in an hour or so.
