Rain

On Monday I bought myself a new mop bucket (extras) I didn't buy a new mop because I didn't like the colour of any of those available. I thought I would wait until my next trip into Skop Town where a greater choice is available. I simply cannot do housework if my equpment doesn't excite me, and colours excite me. On Tuesday it rained, a lot. We were due to go to the spring for drinking water. The upper spring has dried up and the road to the lower spring is treacherous even in good weather. Far too much of a risk to go when it's raining so we collected rain as a temporary drinking water supply (extras).

Little did we know the havoc being wreaked at the other end of the island;-

I think it will be a while before we venture down there to purchase a happily coloured mop. I am glad I have only a dirty floor to worry about.
