Rotate!

I called in at North Weald airfield as a nice man I met there last week said that he planned to fly in today. He's learning to fly a gyroplane. 

I had things to do so didn't get there that early. As I arrived I saw a dark coloured gyroplane in the air but there was no sign of it by the time I reached The Squadron. Maybe it just did a touch and go?

I had a nice little chat with the relaxed chef who was so stressed last Tuesday, the day of the BOB75 fly in. I sat and sipped a latte in the sunshine.

Not much aircraft movement to tog. This white gyroplane took off and by the time I had decided to leave it came back into land. Shame I didn't get to photograph the person I met in the air. I enjoyed my visit, maybe next time. :)
