More Roman loveliness

Off to the city again. Visited the football stadium but no tours or getting close so was a bit disappointing. Experienced Rome buses and trams and got back to Piazza del Popolo and went through the arch this time! Visited the Spanish Steps again before discovering the Pantheon... Oh my goodness what a gem!! I was in awe of the splendour inside compared to the simplicity of outside. And the setting ... in the middle of a piazza with housing (OK old housing!) all around. Then just a short walk away was Piazza Navona again a wonderful place. Rome is really amazing!!
The weather had turned a bit English with some rain so we headed back to the hotel and ate there again this evening. What delights will we discover tomorrow...??!
