At a stretch

Driving to work at ten to seven, had to overtake a big convoy of some sixty or so cyclists trying out the Olympic Road Race route which will be taking place on the 27th and 28th July. Lots of protective 4x4s and motorcycle outriders protecting them.

In meetings from 7.30 until 10.30 this morning, then an endless stream of queries from people on everything from prescribing for children in palliative care to travelling expenses for staff. My job is nothing if not diverse.

Managed to get a couple of wildlife shots through the kitchen window tonight, this cheeky bugger was going for the bread on the bird table big time. He is in competition with the birds and a water rat from the local canal, so the bread goes very quickly at the moment ...
