Early Fallers

I spent the morning painting some of the fence at the front of the garden! Finished one (shorter) side and one of the gates! The rest will have to wait until next week! Best part of a day's work needed to complete it....

On our walk in the woods it was quite noticeable that the first leaves are beginning to fall. Mostly beech - and they are a lovely colour.  

We also came a cross a newly fallen tree - well two actually - one seems to have fallen onto another and brought it down as well. The trunk has split open as it was forced over. The force must have been immense - shot included in the extras. I had to use flash as it was quite dark in the woods.
