Matthew is the answer. I'm surprised he knows how - I don't. It hasn't been used for several weeks because last time Diana used it the cloakroom got flooded due to a leak. Matthew cleaned the filter out and assumed it would be OK. Put a wash on, was told to keep an eye on it and then started watching highlights of the recent rugby matches on TV. Yes, you've guessed it. When I came downstairs to check, the cloakroom was once again awash with water. On the plus side, the floor is looking clean after we mopped up.
