Flower girl

We set off exploring today, up the coast towards the west. We found some good views and some little harbours. We stopped in Binic and were lucky to be there on market day. The food stalls were interesting, with the different cuts of meat and the beautifully arrayed vegetables. There was one stall that was only garlic and shallots. I was reminded of when as a teenager I stayed with my French pen friend and we went on the Paris Metro. The stink of garlic was overpowering because in those days the French used to chew garlic to ward off ills!
More pleasant today was this pretty flower stall. The owner was busy making up pretty bouquets of dried flowers.
We lunched in a small local cafe with a simple menu. Real France, not touristy at all.
