In the Dingle

I had to go to Shrewsbury this morning and as the weather was so good I went for a walk along the River Severn and back through the The Quarry, the town's park.

In the Quarry is The Dingle, a beautiful garden of flowers, ponds and other features. Some of you may be old enough to remember Percy Thrower, he was head gardener here for 28 years.
