LA Landing

A long day of travel today, starting at 3:00am with our trip to Sea-Tac for our flight to LAX and then Mexico. Typically on these returns we are part of the I405 traffic jam shown here as we are usually traveling from Long Beach. Not this trip, as we and the Southwest flight landing on the adjacent runway, are quite a ways above that maddening freeway. Even though the travel was long, it was very uneventful and we arrived right on time at our home airport. Best of all, our car had been delivered to the parking lot by our friend Nadia, so we got to avoid the overpriced taxi ride to our apartment and travel in air conditioned comfort with our many pieces of luggage.
