Mr & Mrs Picture Poems

We met PicturePoems and Mr PP today.  And as Blipmeets are, it was really great fun.  We walked for miles/Kilometers through Wiesbaden talking about all sorts of things - Roman history, Jugendstil architecture, what-is-the-difference-between-the-Russian-Orthodox-Church-and the-Greek-Orthodox-Church?, and all manner of things in between.

The weather was kind and our timing was excellent for virtually everything we tried to see.

I think it's a measure of the people on Blip that you can meet up with people you've never met before and just start talking about anything and everything.  And then all of a sudden it's 7 hours later. 

You've just been blethering and enjoying the company.

And so it was.

This is them.  They were great to meet and it was a treat to show them around. 

I hope they can forgive me for how far I made them walk.

And I hope that Mr PP knows I'll be wondering how they got the capital block of Trajan's Column (which weighs 53.3 tons) lifted to a height of @ 34 m for the forseeable future.
