breaking waves

We went to Oamaru today for lunch at the Portside restaurant that over looks the port and is situated next to the breakwater, today the sea was in a powerful mood as the waves pounded over the top with great regularity. This image doesn't give the scale of the waves so check out the additional images as there was a truck dumping huge rocks to reinforce the breakwater and it add a sense of scale. After lunch on the way back I spotted a small seal swiming around a jetty see the additional images for him too.
