Cool autumn day

With the longer nights and shorter days, the weather has got cooler, but it still feels warm if you sit in the sun.  Not that there was much sitting around today.  We have a long list of garden tasks to get through in the next week or so.  Today was mostly spent chopping back the big bully Buddleahs that have grown 8 feet tall over the course of one season.  We hacked them back to ground level and now can't decide if we let them come back next year or if we pull them out altogether and plant something else in their place.  The downside of pulling them out is fewer butterfly blips next year!
