Kowhai

I managed a walk this morning - the first in a wee while, and noticed that Kowhai trees were bursting into flower everywhere. It is a favourite food of the tuis and I could hear their song all along the track.

It was lovely to be out and about again, in the early morning .

I have selected LightRoom as my editing programme and this is my first attempt. I watched a u-tube video first but when it came time to put it into practice I couldn't remember many of the hints and instructions. I will have to watch the video again... and again...and again.
