Riding the Trail

Blipmate and I went to Marahau this morning on our weekly blip outing. It was a gorgeous day and quite a few folk were striding out along the Abel Tasman track.  Two hours and an ice cream later, I had very little to show for my outing.

The big excitement was seeing for the first time the very shy Banded Rail - we saw three but they were distant and the photographs not clear.

There was an obliging kingfisher but Blipmate has blipped a very nice photo of him.

So it is the trio of riders we spotted on arrival, the only other thing I photographed,  that will be my blip today
