Wethers in Changeable Weather
The dogs and I went for a quick walk down the road this morning. It was sunny when we left, became drizzly at our turnaround point and then was fine by the time we got home. What's more hiding behind the cloud on the slopes of Little Mount Peel there was a fresh icing sugar dusting of snow, which must have come down when it was raining in the bush last night.
On our way back we stopped to say hi to these chaps. They're usually pretty curious and unlike many sheep come close to the fence to check out the dogs.
I'm off to Timaru tomorrow for a family lunch, but might swing by Caroline Bay to say hi to the female seal and her Timaru-born pup. Just too cute.
