Dahlia delight

The village horticultural society Autumn show today was a riot of colour thanks to the magnificent dahlia entries. A long day: doors open at 8, yet punters were banging on the door at 7:40, and my brain hurts from working out the end of year awards from accumulated points over the year. Going into today 3 of us were ahead on 13 points but suffice to say that my two firsts with distinctly average photos were enough to steal it.
