No holes!
My row of hostas turning such lovely autumn colours, and not a hole in sight!
Where as this one .... see extra photo..... is full of them. Almost more hole than leaf!
The first ones are in pots and placed on gravel by the hedge, where as the other one is planted in the soil.
Obviously the snails and slugs don't like the gravel.
A day spent mostly tidying out the shed. A job we both hate, and usually manage to fall out!
What I want to keep, and he wants to throw out.
What I want to throw out, and he wants to keep!
Compromises made and we are both happy!!
Needs a proper clear out next spring, when the fire wood has been used up and we can get at everything.
However it is much better than it was. Getting rid of 7 almost empty tins of paint has helped!
Then did a bit more garden tidying, while MrC watched the rugby on TV.
The sun never came out here, and yet at the match in Leeds, only a few miles away it was shining.
The commentator however did say the sun was shining here in South Yorkshire.
Obviously didn't know where he was!!
I wonder how many other people were shouting at the television,
" Leeds is in West Yorkshire"!!
Have just finished watching Strictly. Certainly enjoying it so far.
Now back to rugby!
Thank you so much again for all your hearts and stars which have kept my 4th year blip on page one.
Well done to Jeanne who has her beautiful poppy photo and 2000th blip at number 2. see here
We are off to Thixendale tomorrow for a walk in the Yorkshire Wolds.
A part of the county which I think always gets overlooked, and a place we have not visited before.
Really looking forward to it. I wonder if we will get any sun?
