Cumbria Here I Come

Reflections

Had an early walk at Derwent Water this morning, was hoping for some good reflections as there was barely any breeze.   There weren't any reflections though on the lake.  I did see some reflections in a stream and I liked the autumn colours which are starting to appear everywere.  Misty had a swim too as a little girl was throwing things into the water for her.

Afterwards we went to Crow Park to look for autumn colour and I spotted a beautiful shrub which is in Extras.  I think its a Euonymus Alatus (Winged Spindle or Burning Bush)  I would love one in my garden so if anybody could confirm that it is an Euonymus I would be soo grateful.  The gardens there always look fantastic and today was no exception.  There were some hydrangeas the size of footballs!!

Home by 12 and a busy afternoon walking dogs, cutting the grass and weeding and just about managed to watch the sun set :)
