Photography and fishing
A gloriously warm, sunny day! After a morning walk with Louie, and a very early lunch, MrM and I went our separate ways for the afternoon, leaving Louie snoozing in the caravan.
MrM opted for fishing in Kielder Burn (extra photo) but, though I had hopes of a trout supper, returned empty handed! I wandered around the forest trails with the camera, and sat in one of the hides for a while, hoping for photo or two of red squirrels. Watched lots of different birds, including a family of nuthatches, taking sunflower seeds from the feeder and, as I was about to leave, spotted a squirrel in the trees. Unfortunately, a grey squirrel, so then went off to find a park ranger to report the sighting.

In the evening a very nice pub meal and drink or two. The sky was clearing as we walked back to the caravan, and the stars twinkling...
