Two curious tourists

This morning we woke up bright eyed and ready for a full day of exploring Paris. We started our day of by having crepes fro breakfast (although we didn't realise things shut and then reopened in the morning so we waited around until midday to get our well needed breakfast).
We then jumped on the metro and went to the Lourve which was beautiful. We looked around and took lots of photos outside before popping in to see the famous Mona Lisa - although we had to fight to try and get to the front to see it.
We continued by walking to the Arc de Triomphe, we underestimated how far it actually was from the Lourve so we stopped off for some lunch on the way and did some shopping on the famous Champs elyssess where we were overwhelmed with fantastic shops. We eventually made it to the Arc de triumph where we were able to walk right to the top to see the view. There were lots of stairs and both Annie and I were struggling but we made it in the end and it was absolutely worth every step. The view was spectacular and a little breathtaking.
So we could see the Eiffel tower from the top so that was our next stop.
It was lovely there and very busy but the structure is just great.
Although we were both pretty tired so we made the decision not to go up it.

After getting changed and having a rest we got ready and went out for dinner. We went to a place called Ferdi which is a small restaurant but known to many for celebrities going there whilst visiting Paris so we thought that was the MUST go to place.

We weren't quite ready to go to sleep just yet and went back to the Eiffel tower as we both really wanted to see it at night. I am very happy we did as it was really wonderful.
To our surprise when it turned to Midnight the lights all started flashing and it was a really special moment. I'm glad I have seen that with my best friend!
