My Paris Adventure

With a 4am start it was a very long, fun, exciting day. With a few hours of travelling on the Eurostar early in the morning I was in Paris after weeks of getting excited for it. Annie is already in France so we are both meeting within Paris in Monparnnasse as that is where our hotel is. As the Eurostar arrives in Gard de Nord I got the metro for the very first time alone to Bienvenue Montparnasse. It was extemely exciting and a tad nerve racking. After a few hours waiting for Annie to arrive we checked into the hotel. 

Then it was time for our first Paris adventure.
Todays itinerary was first to visit Jardin De Luxembourg, and what a beautiful place it is. We spent quite a long time here as we were enjoying the scenery and the gorgeous weather. 
We then headed to the Nortre Dame where we had a look within the Cathedral and took in the fantastic architecture. The attention to detail is just incredible and as two catholic girls we found it very calming and spiritual inside.

When we got home we were both extremely tired and found ourselves fast asleep as soon as we sat down. However at around 9pm we managed to wake ourselves up and go for some dinner. 
A perfect way to end a fantastic day.
