One more bee

As it is now officially fall , I decided today's blip is the bee seen at the end of the walk instead of the sunlit woods taken during the walk ( in extras). I don't think there will be too many more days with bees and flowers in them. The weather has been surprisingly good so far. Relatively warm, fairly sunny and no rain. Unfortunatley so little  rain through most of  August and September means the leaves on the trees are dry and brittle and brown. Many have already dropped. The maples are dull this year. So there may not be many good sunlit woods photo ops either. 
There will not be a lunar eclipse photo as we have clouds obscuring the disc. If they are going to mess up the eclipse viewing they should at least bring some rain!
