Through the Glass

We've had a new oak staircase fitted with glass panels and Rachel and Tony are currently painting our hall landing and stairs. They're frequently fed with bacon or sausage sandwiches and I made a chocci cake for afternoon tea.

Tomorrow the decorative stuff starts with silver dado rails and a poppy red feature wall. Rachel is a breath of fresh air and a delight to have around, and Tony teases her continuously but they work extremely well with each other. It'll soon be finished and will have been well worth the upheaval.
