Snorkelling

It was rough for a bit as we went south to Floreana in the night. Today it is drizzly and dull, but warm. We had a short walk on a beach and then to a brackish lagoon where we saw some flamingoes in the distance.

This afternoon we called at Post office beach - in the old days ships would leave letters in a barrel there and other ships would take them back. We posted one, and picked up one to the travel agent in Gosforth High street so we'll deliver it when we get home! Then we had a snorkel - it was a bit murky - what a shock I got when a giant turtle swam up to me. I didn't know it was possible to scream with a snorkel on!
