Early train

Another early start and arrived in Newcastle before 8.30.
Appointment at hospital not for another hour so having a coffee and reading the papers in a really nice place called Olive & Bean.
One thing about the train ride from Leeds to Newcastle is the pleasant scenery along most of the route. Another misty morning but we were surprised to see a beautiful sunrise unfold. Luckily the train slowed down to call at Thirsk Station giving me the opportunity to take this shot on my iPad .

Update: all done, finger straightened, as much as possible, so no amputation. One finger down, seven to go!
