Archetypal English view # 32

I bet the trees weren't there when the church was built (about 1200). I see this view every time I play golf at Buckingham and am very fond of the way the light changes the colour of the stone.

The parish church of Radclive cum Chackmore is situated in Radclive. As the name implies the parish is made up of two settlements; the hamlet of Radclive and, about 1.5 miles away, the village of Chackmore - both are about 2 miles from Buckingham.

Radclive is recorded in the Domesday Book, if you want to check!
