Common Greenshank(Tringa nebularia)

The Greenshank is such a beautiful, elegant bird and now in great numbers in Oman. Apparently, according to the weather forecasters, because of the effect of El Neño we could be in for four months of bad weather. Hard to see it at the moment, because it's absolutely beautiful here at the moment and the birds seem to think Oman is the place to be. The Flamingo are back and my Bee-Eater is back on the satellite cable so expect to see both of those birds being Blipped soon.
