The road less traveled by

I was driving to visit my parents this morning. I was following a white SUV down a steep hill and instead of the SUV going all the way to the stop sign, I noticed that the driver turned off onto a road that I had never noticed before. I passed the road and then was struck by a little wanderlust, turned around, and decided to try that road also. It was a mostly gravel road, and not too far along, I noticed this round-ish house. As I passed it I also saw a deer standing in the grass. But as I backed up to take the photo, the deer took off. Anyway, I don't think the "new" road saved me any time, but it was an interesting diversion.
