Not On The Level
I was a little bleary eyed until I got a couple of cups of java into me and perhaps (just perhaps?) the camera was a little cockeyed for my first few shots. I wanted to test out my pocket camera, too, to see if there was any chance I could capture a hummer with it. Turned out I could (sorta), at least in the early morning hours when all I'd get would be a silhouette, anyway.
The java perked me up and the morning shone through. I am always energized by my early morning dose of vitamin D (and Starbuck's caffeine).
*grin*
I'm going to keep posting the LIVE STREAMING HUMMINGBIRD CAM
link for a while until people interested in hummingbirds have a chance to see it.
Interestingly, they have short (several secs to a minute) clips from the last couple of days to:
1. a magnificent hummingbird. I've seen but never gotten one.
2. banding together. The bright orange ones are male rufous hummers; birds with the rufous color are female. Most others are Anna's.
3. a male Lucifer. I've never caught a male but I have a female lurking about recently.
