First October Sunrise
My body clock must be set on waking with the sign of first light now because I sprang out of bed at 5:55 am. A mere six minutes later my eyes, and fingers, were caressing the colors of this sky.
I gave my camera a rest for the remainder of the cool morning. With my coffee and iced tea - I always start the day with a hot and cold beverage - I set about making myself comfortable on the patio. I felt like I now had a blip-pressure free morning and merely wanted to spend the time I had before the sun got too intense just marveling at the hummingbirds.
I have seen many beautiful and moving things during my lifetime; possibly the most glorious is the sight of these amazing creatures dancing in the air as the sun juts over the horizon casting its golden glow upon them.
This was that king of morning. Can you feel the warmth?
I continue to share this LIVE STREAMING HUMMINGBIRD CAM from West Texas. If you have never seen live hummingbirds before (or if you want to keep getting your winter fix) this is the place for you. You must be patient, especially if it isn't in the early morning hours (absolute prime is 1 hr after sunrise) or perhaps right before dusk, but they will come by any time. Texas is -6:00GMT.
Here's a suggestion: while you're on Blipfoto (or anything else for that matter) open a new tab with the LIVE SITE. Then you can toggle back and forth between what you are doing and stalking the hummingbirds!
Enjoy and have a great day!
