A six hour cruise with forty friends from Arnside along the full 36 mile length of the Manchester Ship Canal.

Coach to the start across the Mersey from Liverpool. Then a glorious Autumn day full of history ending in the Ultra modern Salford Quays.

My photo shows the famous Liver Building on Liverpool's Mersey frontage. A building full of importance to me because the staff who run my pension scheme work in there.

The extra shows one of the Liver Birds balanced on top of the building. Could write pages but it has been a long day and bedtime calls.
