It's a baldy bald life!

A busy day!

"How have I got a fuzzy head?" I thought. It was only a few glasses of wine the night before!

After a quick shower, I wandered down to the grand hall of Pembroke College for cooked breakfast. Plenty veggie options too. I then went to look at the Roger Bannister trophy cabinet with Richard, a surgeon from Edinburgh who was into his sport.

Then it was to my first and only seminar of the day on medical education. It's fascinating to find that there are so many commonalities and challenges in completely different disciplines.

I then headed off to Zappi's Bike Cafe to meet my wee friend Sarah, who's a maths teacher at a school in Oxford. It was a very quick catch up as she had yoga on her only day off in the week!

I then went for a wee wander round Christ Church College and down to the Roger Bannister running track. What a lovely part of the town on an incredibly sunny day.

Then it was a meeting with an athlete I'm coaching....the best type of meeting as it involved pizza for lunch. The afternoon went way too quickly and we only covered half of what I wanted to. I then scuttled off to the train station and was lucky enough to catch the direct train to Manchester simply because it was 2 minutes late.

Then it was straight off to the pub for a leaving doo for Sarah from work. I've hardly had a drink all year and this was my 2nd night in a row! I swithered whether to order food or not but decided that I didn't fancy cooking when I got home. 50 minutes later and my food hadn't arrived. I went to moan.......the check hadn't reached the kitchen and it was now closed.....Booo. I got my money back but it was too late to catch the next train. Double boo.....until the waitress appeared very apologetic with my dinner!
