You have to be of a certain age to understand this title ;-)

We had thick fog this morning, which had thinned and lifted by midday. Giving us a lovely blue skied sunny day.

Didn't get much sleep last night, maybe 5 hours or so! I had great plans to do indoor chores today........which, after our walk, and a coffee sitting outside, and a late brunch of tomatoes and bacon on toast, I did finally get myself backside (another reference to the title ;-) into gear ;-)

All the windows upstairs washed, polished, paintwork and upvc frames wiped down, also changed our bed linen, washed & dried it.........losttrack of time, had to down tools and run round to the beauticians as I had an appointment at 4.30......just made it in time :-/

Then I stopped off for a quick blip at the duck pond.......this lovely mallard looked resplendent in the sunshine, on the flat millpond like water.

Pan fried cod, crushed homegrown potatoes, with stir fried shredded cabbage with garlic, chilli and caraway seeds for dinner.

Just settling down to watch Google box with a glass of rosé :-)

We just missed out on top 3 at the quiz, but we were happy with our score.

Struggling to keep up with comments a bit at the moment, hope I'm forgiven ? :-(
