Crikey!

Arrived today to find the beams, the parapet and the ceiling taking form ie. the construction of the flat roof.

They're doing a great job but our understanding is that the windows arrive this coming Monday and patently the builders aren't going to be ready, not least because they've been absent for 3 weeks and now they're trying to do it all on the Friday before the Monday. Concrete still needs to be poured over an entire 72 square metres of roof -space, and window-sills need to be cemented in place.

This deadline has been a deadline for some 3 months now.
Can someone/anyone explain to us why it has to be like this?
